A customer said that, after clicking the "Login with Envato" button, there was an error appearing as:
Something went wrong when trying to connect to your Envato account. Please try again.
Is either Ticksy or Envato API currently down?
Another problem is that, sometimes customers are able to open a new ticket even if their support period was expired (they logged in with their Envato account). I guess it is related to the above issue about the validation process, perhaps?
Nothing is down as far as I'm aware of, so this seems odd to me! Have you gone through the guide to make sure nothing was missed in the setup process? Setup for Envato Authors
Yes, I have already done all the steps provided in the guide.
It was really odd. After opening this ticket, I then tried reconnecting my Ticksy support site with Envato but instead I was completely disconnected from the API after clicking the "Reconnect" button (though the Ticksy displayed the complete message). And all my categories were disconnected, too.
It happened several times as I tried to reconnect again and again. Finally, it has been successfully reconnected somehow.
As I am writing this, the API is acting strange again. When I clicked the "Refresh Purchase Data" in a customer's ticket, the system showed me the "The Envato API seems to be experiencing connection issues." message.
This is definitely an Envato API issue then. I would give it a few hours to get back up to speed and see if things are working again. Let me know if this is still happening after 24 hours. Thanks Paul!
