    Hello.

Over the years, we've dealt with many frustrated customers; some of them rightly so, others not so much. In any case, I understand exactly how it feels to get an angry message, and I've been trying my best not to come forward as a hostile customer.

However, the state of the WYSIWYG editor for the past year or so prevents me from doing so. As a support channel, the means by which we can communicate with our customers are arguably the most important component and I'm afraid, the current WYSIWYG editor in ticksy is completely, and utterly broken. And it's not something that just happened, it's been going on from the day we've signed up for your service.

Even while I'm writing this very ticket I'm experiencing horrible bugs and here's a quick demonstration: http://d.pr/v/s1Zs

Please also note that I had to manually type down the above URL because the copy and paste functionality is broken as well (Latest Chrome version on OSX).

Excuse my long rant, the question I'm getting at is summed as: Are there any plans that you will take the most important feature of the whole service seriously and provide a  permanent, stable version that will work and always will work while not getting in the way of our work and productivity?

    Thanks.

We've been using Redactor since the launch of Ticksy v3.0 and it's been great for the most part. However, in recent updates, it seems they've broken several things (as you know), and updates seem to only bring new broken things. We're trying to push them to get another update out soon to fix the most recent issues (code editor pasting, etc.)

I'm not experiencing what you were experiencing in the video however... At all. Can you pass along Browser and OS info so I can do some testing myself? Thanks!

There are a lot of issues that seem to be OS & browser independent, it just keeps getting worse.

For some reason paste does not work inline, but if I create new lines it works:

There is no way to paste something in the code box:

One fine day all quotes in existing code boxes got escaped and broke our code examples, not very nice:

You can imagine we're getting tickets about older code we provided that now does not work.

All the above are from Chrome (latest version), both on Windows 10 & El Capitan, on Firefox it's even worse!

I'm not experiencing this issue at all. Can you test Redactor's demo to see if this issue exists there? https://imperavi.com/redactor/

Very frustrating, I know. Still waiting on a response from Redactor for this fix. It's been several weeks. I almost started replacing Redactor with TinyMCE but realized it would take me weeks to configure and hook everything up again that it's probably not worth the effort.

This happened because at some point the way data was entered was including backslashes. Now it's not. So old posts are showing those backslashes. However if we remove them on load, we remove all backslashes (and in some cases, people need to use backslashes. This part is kind of a mess. I'm working on figuring out a date when this happened and to get it fixed for those older comments.

Thanks for clarifying everything, it helps a lot!
